Illawarra District Squash Rackets Association
IDSRA celebrating 50 years of squash in The Illawarra.
The IDRSA will be celebrating its 50th anniversary year when its 100 pennant competition commences in 2008.
A Committee has been set up to look at ways to help celebrate such an occasion.
A Dinner Dance to celebrate the 50th anniversary year will be held at Dapto Leagues Club on 3 May 2008.
Other things on the agenda to commemorate the anniversary are as follows:
- A tournament in the week leading up to the Saturday night Dinner Dance.
- Two page feature celebrating the 50th anniversary in the Illawarra Mercury.
- A collection of memorabilia (newspaper articles, photos, etc ).
- Contacting past players advising them of the 50th anniversary year and the Dinner Dance.
- Possibly a commemorative shirt for the occasion .
To make this all happen the Committee is also seeking assistance from players to make this occasion a success.

Our main aim is to encourage as many of the current and past players to attend our Dinner Dance as possible.
